For over 20 years, we have been working in and around the wedding and event industry, and has been professional wedding and event DJ and Emcee for more than 18 years! After starting his career with Disneyland's exclusive Wedding and Event DJ company, company fouder Geoff Maddox worked his way up, gaining experience from multiple companies and working at larger and more elegant venues. In 2010, after receiving a large number of client requests at his previous company, he decided that it was time to strike out on his own, so he created GME DJ & Event Entertainment. Here, he would no longer be bound by a "standard framework", and could start organizing weddings with clients in a manner that suited each client individually.
From Terranea, to the Ritz-Carlton, to private estates, we have worked at nearly every wedding and event venue from San Diego to Santa Barbara. In addition, after being recommended by previous clients, we have been hired to travel to places like Mexico, Texas, and New York to DJ and Emcee weddings and private events.
In addition to DJing, he is also a professional baseball announcer and emcee, entertaining thousands on a regular basis. We work with many other types of entertainment for all of your event needs and are happy to assist you with unique equipment, which allows us to create a one-of-a-kind atmosphere that is not available anywhere else, and that neither you or your friends have ever experienced!
